If you're curious about what they're saying, here's a list of common words, phrases, products, and general language used when talking about vaping and e-cigarettes. The research findings presented in this blog have been conducted by Truth Initiative, a leading nonprofit public health organization dedicated to combating tobacco and nicotine use.

Cartridge: A cartridge, in the context of vaping, refers to a pre-filled container that holds e-liquid. It typically includes a mouthpiece and a heating element or coil to vaporize the contents when connected to a compatible vaping device.

Fiend: In the vaping context, a fiend is a slang term used to describe someone who frequently or excessively vapes. It implies a strong desire or craving for vaping.

Ghost: Ghosting, in vaping, refers to the technique of exhaling vapor without producing a visible cloud. It involves holding the vapor in the lungs for a longer duration before exhaling, minimizing the vapor released and leaving little to no visible trace. This technique is often used by vapers who want to be discreet or minimize the visibility of their vaping.

E-liquid, Juice, Liquid, E-juice: E-liquid, also known as vape juice or vape liquid, is a solution used in electronic cigarettes or vaping devices. It typically contains a mixture of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), flavorings, and nicotine (although nicotine-free options are also available). When heated, the e-liquid vaporizes and is inhaled by the user.

Hit: Hit refers to the act of inhaling vapor from a vaping device. It can also refer to the sensation felt when inhaling the vapor.

Rip: Rip is a slang term used to describe taking a puff or inhaling from a vaping device.

Draw: Draw refers to the action of pulling or inhaling vapor from a vaping device. It is similar to taking a puff.

It can occur due to prolonged exposure to a particular flavor or flavors, resulting in a diminished ability to perceive the taste. This condition is typically temporary and can be resolved by taking a break from vaping or trying different flavors.
